Francisco Barbosa, Attorney General of Colombia and opponent of President Gustavo Petro, is refusing to step down for the end of his term. Instead, he is making unfounded allegations against the president and telling the Armed Forces not to obey Petro's orders. Barbosa has just come from meetings in Washington, DC, and top officials are in Bogotá urging Petro to support opposition in Venezuela. (Petro is normalizing relations with the country.)
