Colombia's Centro Pazífico (Pacific Center for Human Rights) is a Cali based community center that provides temporary housing for threatened social movement leaders; lodging for human rights monitors; trainings for activists, labor leaders, and human rights monitors; and meeting space for popular movement organizers. The Centro Pazífico serves the Valle de Cauca and northern Cauca, the region most affected by Colombia's political violence. It is maintained and operated by the Francisco Isaias Cifuentes Human Rights Network, and receives ongoing support from the Alliance for Global Justice, Justice for Colombia (UK), and other organizations and individuals--like you!
